Vijayam Biocytes Private Limited

Established in 2003, Vijayam Biocytes Private Limited (VBCPL) specializes in manufacturing plant boosters such as Protein Hydrolysate (Amino Acid Mixture), N-Acetyl Thiazolidine-4-Carboxylic Acid (NATCA), and their combination products to improve agricultural productivity and soil micro-flora.

In October 2013, the company underwent reconstitution, welcoming additional directors to facilitate expansion under the Companies Act, 1956. Headquartered at Sydenhams Road, Choolai, Chennai-600112, we have grown significantly over the years.

Due to extensive field experience and growing demand from farmers, we recognized significant business potential in NATCA and Amino Acids. We acquired land at APIIC Industrial Estate, Renigunta, Tirupati District, Andhra Pradesh, and started production from 2020-21.

Our products have gained acclaim nationwide, and we prioritize safe packaging using hygienic and high-quality materials. At Vijayam Biocytes, our operations are meticulously conducted by experts with the primary goal of achieving maximum customer satisfaction.

Profile of the Promoters

Sri Madupalli Mohana Gupta

Director & Chairman — Vijayam Biocytes Pvt. Ltd.

Sri Madupalli Mohana Gupta completed his pre-university and graduation from Sri C.R.R. College. After graduation, driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, he founded M/s. Gupta Enterprises in 1974 — an export organization for human hair — which has grown to a multi-crore enterprise over the decades.

Mr. Gupta has represented India in international trade delegations to the USA, UK, Germany, France, Japan, Hong Kong, and other countries, submitting detailed reports to the Government of India for promoting Indian exports. Business India magazine famously described his success story as "a hair-raising experience." He has received awards for exports for over 28 consecutive years.

He serves as the Honorary President of the Human Hair & Hair Products Manufacturers and Export Association. In 2004, Mr. Gupta and his sons promoted MMG Holdings Pvt. Ltd., focused on construction of warehouses and commercial complexes leased to multinational and logistics companies.

In 1989, Sri Madupalli Mohana Gupta founded the Gupta Foundation with the noble purpose of honouring distinguished personalities in the fields of literature, dance, music, social service, sports, research, medicine, and education. So far, 21 stalwarts have received the Gupta Award and 15 Telugu literary personalities have been awarded the Sri Madupalli Krishna Murthy Sahitya Puraskram. The Foundation has also undertaken extensive welfare activities including contributions to heart patients, distribution of furniture and learning materials to primary and tribal schools.

Sri Madupalli Krishna Kishore

Sri Madupalli Krishna Kishore holds a Post Graduate degree in Public Administration. He has been actively associated with the business firms established by his father and plays a central role in assisting with the social and service activities of M/s. Gupta Foundation.

He takes charge of international marketing of the group's business products and is instrumental in promoting and expanding the product portfolio across markets. His dynamic approach to business development has been a key driver in the growth of the Gupta Group's diverse enterprises.

Sri Nagarajan Kailasam

Director — Vijayam Biocytes Pvt. Ltd.

Sri Nagarajan Kailasam has been in business for over four decades. He took over the family business of trading in human hair in 1979 and ventured into exports, achieving steady and healthy growth with a turnover exceeding Rs. 100 lakhs. His other business interests include export of animal horn products.

He manages the following enterprises:

He exports products to Korea, China, USA, Japan, Europe and more. Widely travelled across the globe for business, he brings an extensive international network and deep industry expertise to the company.

Sri Madupalli Vijay Kumar

Director — Vijayam Biocytes Pvt. Ltd.

Sri Madupalli Vijay Kumar holds a Post Graduate degree in Corporate Finance and has been actively associated with the business firms established by his father. He has primarily led the Human Hair USA business operations, establishing a strong presence in the North American market.

He served as a Member of the Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO), Los Angeles from 2012 to 2018, and is currently a member of the Young Presidents' Organization (YPO), Gateway Chennai. He is also actively involved in the social and service activities of M/s. Gupta Foundation, carrying forward the group's legacy of giving back to society.
